Our Story
I am Cathy Jaicks, a registered California architect. I live in Lincoln, CA with my husband and business partner, Fred. I have been working in the architectural industry for over thirty years, specializing in custom design for residential and commercial properties. My expertise allows me to bring your vision to life and guide your project from start to finish.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in both the public and private sector, providing architectural services for a wide range of projects including healthcare, retail, education, religious, commercial, senior living, and residential. While I am experienced in various project types, my true passion lies in residential architecture. I find great joy in meeting clients who have a clear vision for their dream home, and I am dedicated to incorporating their dreams into a home they can be proud of.

Over the years, I have cultivated relationships with reputable homebuilders, subcontractors, and artisans, allowing me to connect each client with the perfect team for their homebuilding needs.
My business is based out of a home office in Lincoln, CA, where Fred and I work together. I devote equal attention to projects of all sizes and have earned a strong reputation for meeting client schedules and budgets. My focus is on achieving lasting project value through creative and cost-effective solutions. I am involved in every step of the process, from start to finish, to ensure a smooth and successful outcome.

Family Life
In addition to my professional career, I am also involved in various personal interests and hobbies. I take great joy in being a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, wife, and grandmother. As the pack leader, I am responsible for taking my two puppies, Barlie and Macy, on daily walks. I have always had a passion for art and find immense pleasure in exploring this creative outlet. Additionally, both Fred and I love to spend our spare time playing golf, embracing the challenge and enjoying the outdoors.
Education and Work History
I have been an architect since the early to mid-1980s. I obtained my BS degree in Architecture from CalPoly Pamona in 1983. After graduating, I worked for Ware and Malcomb Architects in Orange County, CA from 1983-1986. Following that, I moved to the Sacramento area and joined Forrar Williams Architects from 1986-1990, where I contributed to various residential and commercial projects. In March of 1990, I received my Architect License.
After becoming a registered architect, I relocated to Yuba County, where I purchased my first home and worked as a Senior Plan Checker with the Yuba County Building Department from 1990-2000. In this role, I oversaw the analysis of building codes, structural regulations, and fire safety for all submitted projects. Since 1998, I have been managing my own business with the support of my husband, Fred Jaicks, who is a talented AutoCAD designer/drafter.
